Beads are coming back in a big way. Although beaded jewelry has always been at the core of personal adornment, a new trend has taken hold in the last few years: interchangeable jewelry. Popular brands such as Pandora, Trollbeads, Oriana, Biagi, and Chamilia share a similar philosophy- jewelry should be as individual as the person who wears it, and every piece should be personalized for, and BY, the wearer.

The basic premise is this-  jewelry designers are now selling simple gold or silver bracelets upon which different beads, charms, and other components can be easily added or removed. It's definitely a take on the traditional "charm bracelet" of our youth with one big exception- the charms, beads, etc can easily be slid on and off the bracelet without use of tools or any jewelry know-how.  You can easily change your jewelry for any occasional, any outfit, any style.

Instead of purchasing several pieces of expensive "completed" jewelry, the consumer can now purchase individual components and mix-and-match to create their own personal statement.

And it's not limited to bracelets- there are now necklaces, anklets, and even rings and earrings that allow for the interchange of beads and other charms.

Although all of Gingerblue Beads jewelry (finished bracelets, necklaces, rings, and earrings) is completely one-of-a-kind, handmade in our Marco Island studio, the idea of giving our customers a way to channel their own creativity was too appealing to resist. So we've introduced a line of beads that were specifically designed to fit Pandora-style bracelets and other jewelry- called "Bliss Beads".

Each of our "Bliss Beads" are completely handmade, and one-of-a-kind. The colors and textures reflect the tropical paradise that is Marco Island. By adding a "Bliss Bead" to your bracelet, necklace, or other build-your-own piece of jewelry, you can take a piece of Marco Island with you wherever you go.
